10) Application: Diuron is a substituted urea herbicide used to control a wide variety of annual and perennial broadleaf and grassy weeds, as well as mosses, besides the agricultural application, it’s used as paint additives to control the mosses for marine paint, architecture outside wall paint, etc. it is used as additive to the paints for controls mosses/algal, aquatic weeds. It is also used as booster biocide in antifouling paints where its activities enhance the efficacy of copper in those products.
