8) Stability, oxidation and thermal: It is considered slightly corrosive to mild steel and should not be used in mild steel tanks or with PVC or rubber hoses or pipes. Although acetochlor is stable under normal temperatures and pressures, thermal decomposition products may include toxic oxides of nitrogen and carbon and toxic and corrosive fumes of chlorides.
