Application: Clothianidin is a nitroguanidine nicotinoid insecticides or thiazole insecticides which is smilar to thiamethoxam and imidacloprid, it is absorbed by plants and then distributed in pollen and nectar, killing pests, it's also used for seed treatment use on corn and canola. It is antagonists against nicotinic acetylcholine receptor. Due to this specific activity against the insect nervous system, these pesticides are systematic and contact compounds effective in controlling aphids, thrips, potato beetle and other various harmful pest species. The important drawback of clothianidin is that it can be toxic for useful insects, i.e. bees.
